The National Surfing Centre prides itself on the professionalism, quality and experience of its coaching staff. When you have a surfing session with us you can be assured of a top quality professional service.

Our team of coaches are led by B.S.A. Head Coach, Barrie 'Baz' Hall (we have male and female coaches).

Baz has been surfing 20 years plus and has surfed all around the world, both recreationally and competitively.
Baz has been coaching since '94 and is a B.S.A. Level 4 Accredited coach - the B.S.A.'s top level award for surf coaching.

Baz is a National Trainer / Assessor for the BSA , and he trains and assesses surf coaches for their accreditations at all levels from 1- 4.

Baz has been 2 x British Team Coach and English Team Coach. He is also a 'Surfing Australia' Level 1 surf coach and spent several seasons coaching on the Gold Coast in Oz.

The National Surfing Centre has a highly experienced team of coaches with Accreditations at levels 1-4, and can cover all your coaching needs from a first time novice to a member of the British Team.

We will ensure that you get the appropriate tuition/coaching and equipment for your requirements and can tailor a course to suit your needs.

All the coaches are qualified beach lifeguards and are trained in first aid and resuscitation. You can be sure that you are in safe hands.
